This is a transitional week. We'll experience decreased volume, some re-tests, and we'll find a couple new baselines for Cycle 2 (Engine). This is a great opportunity for nagging injuries to recover, hands to heal, and for mental rejuvenation. Please do not do any extra work this week and continue to trust the process. Below is a tentative schedule for this unique week:
Monday- Additional Active recovery day
Tuesday- Assault Bike Test
Wednesday- Conventional Crossfit
Thursday- Running Test
Saturday- Row Test
I. Active/Passive Recovery
Do what is best for you today. That could mean yoga, romwod, empty sled drags, or a light bike / row. We do not want you guys to touch a barbell, grip a pullup rig, or get your heart rate above 70% of your max HR. We basically want you to warmup, mobilize, and cool down. This additional recovery day will help you perform your best for the rest of the week.
