The number one reason people miss on a press is bar track. You must drive the bar towards the face by keep the elbows slightly in front of the bar. Once the bar pushes forward away from the head the difficulty increases exponentially. Once the bar passes over the head, push your head forward to incorporate more of the muscle of the upper back.
