A three position snatch is great for technique work because it drills multiple positions and allows the athlete to essentially "connect-the-dots." Most often a 3 position snatch starts on the floor and works up the leg. Today we are going to start from the top. The first snatch will be from the high-hang position (hips). The second snatch will be from the mid-thigh position. The third and final snatch will come from the floor. The key is to think about retracing your steps each time as you progress further down the leg.
