I saw this on the New York Times blog and felt compelled to post about it. It discusses the dangers associated with wearing high heels too often. It is important to note that this article only covers the increased chances of muscle strains in the leg and ankle and not even the bigger picture issues of hip displacement and glute deactivation. Perhaps I can discuss those in the next newsletter. If you tend to wear heels a lot, it is a quick read and the solution is pretty simple. Wear them less often and remove them when seated.
