You may have noticed that lately we have been drilling the Olympic lifts more. The Olympic lifts are unequaled when it comes to developing explosive strength, coordination, power, and flexibility. Because of their complexity we are going to try something different this month. Each week we will have a skill day that involves a partial Snatch movement. These skill days will build off of each other to help you better understand the different parts of the Snatch and attack weaknesses at different points of the Snatch. In the last week of the month we will go for a new 1 rep max on the full lift. Next month we will focus on the clean!
